Hello and welcome! We’re so glad you’re here!!
This group was created back in 2008 with one purpose in mind: community. Whether you are new to parenthood, new to the Springs, or are just craving an interaction that doesn’t revolve exclusively around Paw Patrol and granola bars, we are here for you.
We work to connect you with other fantastic moms that are walking the same life journey as you. And as a bonus, we find some great new playmates for your children! Though we may come from varied backgrounds and have various likes and dislikes, the one need we all share is the bond of friendship. Our group functions as a home base. It’s a place where you can let your guard down, share stories, laugh or cry a little. We all know how hard parenthood can be, and that is why we are glad to open our hearts to all who need a community.
Colorado Springs Mommy and Me is geared towards moms of newborns, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. We like to stay busy and keep a variety of events planned. These events include parks, hikes, coffee dates, indoor play places, home play dates, pot lucks, lunches, the zoo, arts, craft activities, museums, and story times. Once a month we also schedule a moms-only event, and there will be times when the whole family is welcome to come as well! (Again, we all need socialization, including our spouses!)

Group Rules
- Photo Policy: You are welcome to post photos of yourself and your own children only. We respect the privacy and discretion of everyone in this group to make their own decisions about public facing photos.
- Food Allergies: It is your responsibility to let hosts know about food allergies and take necessary precautions. We want your little ones to be safe!
- Membership Dues: Members are required to pay an annual $5 membership fee. (This must be paid within 30 days of first joining.) This fee is used to cover the cost of being listed on the Meetup website, and excess funds will be put back into group events.
- Conflict Policy: If you have an issue with a group member (or even general feedback!), please reach out to someone on the organizer team. It helps us to know about issues so we can do our best to resolve them! We maintain the right to remove you from the group at any time, and refunds will not be given. We wish to keep this group safe, busy, and fun!
- Profile Picture: For safety reasons we recommend that prospective and current members submit and maintain a high-quality profile picture of yourself on their profile. This photo is helpful for organizers to locate you at events too!
