Rehabilitating a section of the Swampy Dutchman trail. We are getting this section of trail set for next summer for when the new section of Swampy Dutchman trail comes on line.
We will bike about 2 miles to the work area on a Forest Service road and single track trails. Bring your bike helmet or approved combo bike/hard hat. Hard hats will be required during the trail work.
Details:
We will be doing tread work adding drains, realigning fall line sections and generally tuning up this section of trail.
Where:
Meet at Kapka Snowpark just down the Sunriver road (FS 45) from the Cascade Lakes Highway about 3 miles before Mt Bachelor.

When:
Be ready to go at 8:30. Please be on time so we can make the most of the day.
What to expect:
Plan on moving a lot of dirt, repairing the trail tread, and having fun. Refreshments to be provided at the meeting spot at the end of the work day.
What To Bring:
- Bike Helmet if riding
- Extra clothes (layers)
- Sunscreen/chapstick
- Water
- Snacks
- Sturdy, close toed shoes
- Backpack to carry your things
- Long pants
- Work gloves
- Eye protection (glasses, sunglasses - we will have some as well)
All tools and hard helmets will be provided.
