Women of COTA CHANGE OF LOCATION & WORK due to closure

Details
IF YOU WOULD PLEASE MAKE A COMMENT THAT YOU HAVE SEEN THE CHANGE OF VENUE AND WORK FOR TOMORROW EVENING.....THANKS SO MUCH. FS closed and locked the gate leading to where we had planned to brush SST . Thanks for your understanding.
Women of COTA is centered on bringing women together in a supportive environment to learn about COTA and the trail building/maintenance process. So if you've wanted to give back to our local trails AND unite with like-minded individuals who share a passion for mountain biking---here's your chance!
What: We will be repairing the tread and adding a drain to Phil's Trail near the intersection at the very top of Upper Storm King where water run-off made a trench. No experience is necessary. We will carpool a short way from our meeting spot and have a short walk to the work area. We should be able to all fit in Molly and Michele's vehicles.
Where: We will meet at bottom of ROAD 300 where it intersects with Skyliner's Road. (the road that goes to Tumalo Falls) Look for the COTA signs on the left at the end of that long straight section.
When: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early, so we can have an on-time start.
What to expect: After our meet-and-greet we will will have a short safety and work overview briefing. We will gather tools and carpool to the work area from our meeting spot.
Be prepared to work and to have FUN! Talking about the trails and the techniques used to maintain them is fun, so ask questions if you have them.
If you have to cancel, please be kind and send a message at least an hour before the event.
Plan on working rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, smoke from wildfires, or anything COTA deems dangerous, we will update this Meetup page and also send an email to everyone out through Meetup. If you do not hear from us, the event is on.
What To Bring:
• Sunscreen/chapstick
• Snacks and water
• Close toed shoes
• Backpack to carry your things
• Gloves
• Eye protection (glasses, sunglasses - we will have some as well)
