This is a private group for COTA volunteers that have gone through Crew Leader training or are current Skill Leaders/Trainers.
This is a place for Crew Leaders to post trainings, work events, and social events that only Crew Leaders should be invited to.
Unless the event is last minute or you aren't seeing a good response please don't "announce" your event. The "announce" is what sends out the email blast to everyone. Instead email Josh to have it included in the Crew Leader Weekly'ish Email. This is in an effort to really cut down the amount of emails that Crew Leaders receive.
An example how this new group will be helpful... Let's say John Stark needs 3 people to help him out at the bunker. He can post that here with a cap of 4 people (himself +3) and when it fills nobody else can join. This will save the organizer time keeping track of responses, and sending multiple emails letting our entire group know when something has filled... or if there are changes to the event. With enough notice he can have Josh post it on the Weekly'ish email but if it's last minute help that is needed he simply creates the event the same way and then hits the announce button as we do with all other regular work events so other Crew Leaders get the invite.
