Let's Talk Shells - Nushell & Couchbase Shell

Details
In this month's Meetup, we will be talking about Shells - Nushell, a modern shell based on the concept of extensible pipelines and Couchbase Shell, a modern command line tool for the day to day needs of your whole team working with Couchbase Server and Couchbase Capella. The talks will cover what the shells are and how to get started with them.
We look forward to having you join us on April 13th at 10 a.m. PDT The Meetup will be streamed on Youtube, Twitch & Twitter and if you miss it, we'll be uploading the recording the following day.
Session #1: Introduction to Nushell
Speaker: JT, Nushell Co-creator
What we'll discuss:
JT introduces Nushell (https://www.nushell.sh/) , a structured shell and scripting language that takes the unix idea of pipes and extends it to modern day programming practices
Speaker Bio: JT has 15 years of programming language experience. During that time, JT worked at Cray on the Chapel programming language and at Apple on LLVM/Clang. In 2012, they joined Microsoft as part of the TypeScript core team, where they helped to finish and release TypeScript to the world. They stayed on for over three years, helping direct TypeScript and grow its community. From there, they joined Mozilla to work on Rust, where they brought their experience with TypeScript to help the Rust project transition from a research language to an industrial language. During this time, they co-created the new Rust compiler error message format and the Rust Language Server. Their most recent work is with Nushell, a programming language implemented in Rust.
Session #2: Using Couchbase Shell to interact with your Couchbase Clusters
Speaker : Charles Dixon (Software Engineer @ Couchbase)
What we'll discuss:
Couchbase Shell(http://couchbase.sh/) is a modern command line tool for the day to day needs of your whole team working with Couchbase Server and Couchbase Capella. In this talk we’ll cover what Couchbase Shell actually is and how you can use it to interact with your Couchbase clusters, using simple commands to build powerful pipelines.
Speaker Bio: Charles is a software engineer on the SDK team at Couchbase, primarily working on the Golang SDK. Prior to Couchbase, he worked in a number of industries including real-time vehicle telemetry and video games.
