What we’re about
Hello fellow mental health professionals! I would love to create a space for some local professionals to meet up and have coffee and talk about any relevant professional issues as well as develop a sense of community. This is open to all of those in the mental health professional field, i.e. counselors, psychologists, social workers etc.
My goal is to start this roughly twice a month in the Boulder area and open it up to other colleagues who may wish to host some in a nearby suburb or somewhere closer to their home. The intent is to have several events monthly that people can choose from that are convenient to their schedule.
Ideas for the agenda are general socializing, learning of other professionals in the area to assist in referrals, discovering new techniques or learning other resources used by colleagues, and discussing any major events or issues affecting the profession. (I suggest refraining from any client/case consultations in a public atmosphere, however if anyone is interested in hosting perhaps a Zoom case consultation meeting that could be discussed!)
There will be a nominal fee to join this group and that is to cover the cost of the meetup annual fees. You will also be required to confirm your CO licensure info to keep the integrity of the group.
