Coping with difficult memories in grief – Grief Support Meeting - 10.10.24

Details
Welcome to our 1.5-hour grief support meeting online.
This event will focus on coping with difficult memories in grief.
At The Loss Foundation we are committed to providing the best support possible to those who use our services. We know it’s not a one size fits all when it comes to grief, and therefore we are always keen to learn if and how our support is beneficial. People partaking in our online workshop will be invited to complete some questionnaires before and after the event – all of which are made anonymous.
Who is the grief support meeting for?
The session is open to anyone bereaved by cancer or coronavirus.
This event is for people aged 18 and over. Please get in touch with us if you are looking for support for children so we can signpost you to other organisations.
Do I have to pay for it?
No, like all our services, the support is free. But there are limited spaces available so we recommend signing up as soon as possible. If the event is booked up you can join a waiting list and we will let you know if a space frees up.
How do I take part?
To register to join the Grief Support Meeting you will need to complete the survey through the link below:
https://survey.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8jqblRwXdr9lcc6
Once this is completed, you will be sent an email with instructions for joining the video session and you can click in at the time of the meeting.
We are unable to respond to messages through MeetUp outside of office working hours. If you are having any difficulty with registering for the group, please email us at hello@thelossfoundation.org rather than through MeetUp and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Please note that we are not a crisis service, so if you are in need of immediate support please do reach out to Samaritans who provide immediate listening support. They can be reached on 116 123.
We look forward to seeing you there!
