At our last meeting we chose our next read, by vote: Persuasion by Jane Austen
Persuasion, Jane Austen's last novel, is a moving, masterly and poignant love story tinged with the heartache of missed opportunities. It tells the story of Anne Elliot, who was persuaded to break off her engagement to the man she loved, because he was not successful enough.

For this meeting we will break the evening into three portions:
First we’ll start with chatting about the book, sharing our impressions and opinions, with a few questions to help prompt discussion.
Next we’ll have our “Cozy Life” bit, where we are all welcome to share our current inspiration for a warm, inviting and charming lifestyle - think: coziness show-and-tell!
Finally, we’ll end the night by deciding our next read!
Bring any ideas of cozy/comforting books to add to the ongoing, group TBR (to be read). To decide, we will use an elimination style vote. Then we’ll schedule our next meeting and get to reading!
