Creative Writing club

Join us for a cozy weekly writer’s group at Foxtail Coffee in Sarasota, where creativity and community meet over good coffee and great ideas. Whether you’re drafting a novel, writing poetry, working on a screenplay, journaling, or just exploring a new story concept — this group is for all kinds of creative writers.

Bring something you’re working on or simply come with a spark of inspiration to share. We offer an open, supportive space for feedback, brainstorming, and creative connection.

✍️ Introduction: Start by introducing yourself, your passions, and the story or writing you’ve been doing. Grab something to eat or drink as well

✍️ Plan or Read: Discuss whether we want to use the time for independent writing or for reading aloud what we’ve been writing.

✍️ Discussion & Critique: Participants may share pieces and receive supportive feedback.

✍️ Closing: Recap, celebrate progress and make a plan for next week.
