Krakow Story Slam: "Things Fell Apart"
The Atrium Hotel, Krzywa 7, 31-149, Krakow, PL## Tonight’s Theme: Things Fell Apart
Not always in a single moment.
Not always in a way anyone notices.
Sometimes it begins with a small break.
Sometimes it unravels quietly over time.
A relationship.
A plan.
A version of yourself you thought would last.
The moment things stopped holding together.
Or the moment you realized… they already had.
The chaos.
The breaking point.
The quiet collapse no one else saw.
And maybe—what came after.
We’ve all had moments
where something slipped, shattered, or slowly came undone.
Tonight is about those stories.***

## What is a Story Slam?
A Story Slam is a night of true, personal stories told live.
Funny, emotional, awkward, wild, or unforgettable —
stories that actually happened.
Each event has a theme that inspires the night.### Theme: Things Fell Apart
### Story time: 5–7 minutes
Extras: Cozy drinks, wine, and snacks
Entry: Free! (Tips help cover the mic & event costs.)
📍 Location: Restauracja Atrium - Krzywa 7/1, 31-149 Kraków***
## Important for Storytellers
Your story must:
- Be a real story (something that actually happened)
- Be told live (no reading)
- Clearly connect to the theme: Things Fell Apart
If it doesn’t follow the theme or isn’t a story, it won’t be eligible for scoring.

## Want to Tell a Story?
Here’s how it works:
### DO
• Tell a real story — something that actually happened
• Keep it 5–7 minutes
• If you go over, we’ll flash a light
• Make sure your story has a beginning, middle, and end
• Give us stakes — why should we care?
• Be honest. Be entertaining. Be real***
### DON’T
• No essays, lectures, or philosophy speeches
• No reading from notes or paper — speak from the heart
• No complaining — shape it into a story with meaning
• No stories that ignore the theme***
## After Each Story
Audience judges give a score.
At the end of the night, we crown the Story Slam winner.***
## Not Ready to Share?
That’s totally fine.
Grab a drink.
Settle in.
Listen closely.
Because everyone in this room
has something that didn’t go to plan…
And tonight,
you’ll hear what happened when it didn’t.***
