What is a Story Slam?

A story slam is a night of real-life tales told live—funny, sad, spooky, wild, or just unforgettable.
Theme: Check the event title!
Time: 5–7 minutes per story.
Extras: Mulled wine, cozy drinks, and snacks.
Entry: Free! Tips help cover the mic & Uber costs.

Want to Tell a Story?

Here’s how it works:

DO:
Tell a real story – something that actually happened.
Keep it 5–7 minutes.
If you go over, we’ll flash a light.
Keep going past that? We’ll ring a bell.
Extra minutes = 1 point deducted.
Make sure your story has a beginning, middle, and end.
Include stakes—why we should care.
Be entertaining and real.

DON’T:
No essays, rants, or life philosophy—this is not group therapy.
No notes, reading, or paper—speak from the heart.
No complaining—turn your drama into a story with a point.
After Each Story
Audience judges give a score.

At the end, we announce the winner of the night!
