Downtown Providence with Downtown Neighborhood Association

We are heading to downtown Providence on Sunday to partner with the Downtown Neighborhood Association for our clean up! We will meet at Point Street Park next to the bridge and the RI Energy lot, and then head out towards Eddy street to pick up litter. There is parking on the street in the area.

This week we are also doing something a little different and asking all attendees to bring donations for our local food pantries. We're looking for nonperishables and canned goods to help support our community affected by lack of funding for the SNAP program. Id you have the means and are able, your donation is appreciated!

We've got plenty of supplies, so the only thing you need to bring is yourself! We recommend long pants and boots as we frequently find ourselves off-pavement and in tall grass and ticks can be a concern. Please be aware that other risks such as poison ivy and bees nests may be present.
