Fraud in the Workplace: The Crime Nobody Thinks Is Happening - Sponsored by Jeffrey Gregory

Join us for an engaging two-hour webinar on Tuesday March 31, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. EST

Most business owners believe fraud happens somewhere else — in large corporations, government, or organizations with weak controls.

In reality, the majority of workplace fraud is committed by trusted long-term employees and often runs for years before anyone notices.
In this engaging and sometimes controversial presentation, forensic accountant Dave Oswald shares real cases from his investigative work to explain:

    • how workplace fraud actually begins
    • why trusted employees often become the fraudsters
    • why audits rarely detect fraud
    • the warning signs most organizations miss
    • what to do when fraud is discovered

The session also explores the insurance and legal realities that businesses face once fraud occurs — including why many companies have inadequate employee dishonesty coverage and why recovering stolen funds is often far more difficult than people expect.

Participants will leave with practical insights into preventing fraud, strengthening controls, and responding effectively when things go wrong.
