We're continuing the yearly tradition and organizing a Node.js Christmas Lunch in Copenhagen on the 12th of January 🤶🍺🎄

Price for dinner, drinks etc: 280 DKK / 38 EUR. See menu below.

A quick primer on Danish Christmas Lunch for the uninitiated:

The traditional Danish Christmas Lunch is cherished Danish tradition that all Danes participate in right before or after Christmas. Despite its name, it's not unusual to start around dinner timer, and a classic evening involves plenty of local delicious Christmas food, specially brewed Christmas beer, and plenty of wine and snaps. While there's no strict dresscode, it's not uncommon to wear festive Christmas inspired clothing, Christmas hats, ugly Christmas sweaters etc.

The menu consists of:

Bread & Butter:

• Freshly baked light & dark bread with salted butter

The cold:

• Marinated herring with home-made curry salad, pickled red onions & fennel crudité
• Shrimp salad of handpicked shrimp with smoke cheese from Funen, lemon peel & chives
• Homemade chicken salad with pulled chicken, sugar peas & asparagus
• Winter salad with orange, pomegranate seeds & honey vinaigrette

The warm:

• Warm liver paste with butter-rooted mushrooms & bacon
• Homemade meatballs with homemade beetroot & cucumbers
• “Exploded” berberi duck breast
• Roast Christmas pork with crispy cracklings & laurel salt
• Warm homemade red cabbage with hot spices
• Potatoes turned in butter & parsley
• Browned petite potatoes
• Brown sauce made on beef, herbs & gastric

The sweet:

• Rice à la mande with almonds, crumble and cherry sauce
