Introduction
It’s been a while, the Meetup machine hasn’t ramped up to 100% yet, but we hope soon to have events more regularly. Hans Klabbers has recently gained experience with running C++ in the Cloud and more specifically using AWS Lambda and proposed to share some of his learnings in a talk for those who are interested!
About the speaker
Hans Klabbers has been working in IT since 1993. He has worked for ING Bank, Robeco, Geveke Industrial and Rabobank. The last three years mainly in cloud migration projects at Rabobank with Azure and AWS.
About presentation
Have you ever wondered what cloud computing and serverless provide you as a software developer that creates software with C++? During this talk you will get insight in Amazon Web Services a.k.a. AWS Cloud. A demo of a serverless solution created with AWS services and software built with C++ will be shown during the talk.
About the venue
Vimec is located walking distance from the Eindhoven airport, free parking is available at Vimec during this event. We will provide some pizza and drinks. The venue has a limited capacity of have 35 people, so please make sure to keep your attendance status up to date and release your seat if you are not coming.
