April C/C++ Meetup

Hello Everyone,

Our next meetup will be sponsored by Arista Networks (https://www.arista.com/) in their Dublin office, who have kindly offered to provide food and drinks for everyone.

Our aim is to continue delivering high quality technical content, so get ready for another C/C++ Monday evening, where we'll have the following talks:

1. "Meta-serializers: Theory and Practice" by Dení Sukhonina (50 min)

Abstract: No one likes routinely write serializers manually. They are too hairy and error-prone. Dení will show you how you can generate serializers using a template IO function declared just once. It will be shown in theory and practice with assembly and benchmarks.

2. "Shared pointers - implementation details" by Peter Edwards (40 min)

Our meetups are open to everyone and we welcome and support diversity. Any form of harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated and we will investigate any reports of such activities and take any action required to prevent them from recurring.
