Book Talk - SICP (Part 3)

For the next gathering of our Book Club, we’ll dive into Chapter 3 of Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs (SICP).
SICP is a timeless classic from an era when programmers took pride in understanding every layer of abstraction, from the highest levels down to the metal. Back then, software was built with a deep awareness of the entire computational stack, and navigating across layers was seen as a skill, not a source of fear.
We’ll explore it's key concepts, share insights, and discuss any challenges along the way. Whether you're new to SICP or revisiting it, this session is a great opportunity to learn and engage with others.
Participants are encouraged to read the book at least up to the 2nd chapter (the current chapter we are discussing during this meet-up)
