Join me for a peaceful knitting and crocheting get-together at Edgewater Public Market! I’m not an expert knitter — just someone who wants to do more — and I’d love to meet others who feel the same. This is a chance to connect with like-minded people, share skills, and create something meaningful together.

We’ll be making Melt the ICE hats — patterns are available here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/melt-the-ice-hat — with all proceeds going to immigrant aid agencies, who will distribute funds to those impacted by ICE actions. There’s a crochet version as well. If supply costs are a barrier, please reach out — I’m happy to bring extra yarn and materials as needed. And if you’d like to help with organizing or planning future gatherings, your support would be greatly appreciated. Come for the crafting, stay for the community, and help us turn care into action! Hoping to make this a weekly meetup but could use some help to make that happen.
