Roots & Resilience: at the CSU Symposium

Join us at the Center for Creativity to watch a performance of “Betty La Poderosa” by Teatro Latino. Following the performance, you'll be able to participate in a community craft project to reflect on the experience.

As part of CSU's annual Symposium, Craftivism has been asked to offer a community-created art piece to honor the work of Betty Aragon, who has had an immense impact on the Hispanic community in Fort Collins.

Our piece, titled Roots & Resilience, will showcase the grit and heartiness of the deep purple beets, as well as the optimistic joyful resilience of the sunflower.

So everyone can participate, this will be an incredible color-by-number puzzle we will all assemble together that day!
