Whittling in Park Circle

Details
Let's gather near the Park Circle Community Center and try our hand at whittling wood! We can park ourselves on the benches outside near the main building. I can provide some wood and a tool for sharpening small blades. You're welcome to bring your own wood or extra to share with other participants.
To safely participate, you will need to bring a pair of cut resistant gloves. I recommend "NoCry Cut Resistant Work Gloves" - available at many hardware stores or online.
You'll also need to bring your own blade for whittling with. It should be a less than 3" blade, and your best bet is to look up whittling blades specifically.
You may also want to bring a beverage or snack, or we can plan to hit up one of the Park Circle restaurants afterwards for lunch!
Total estimated cost for gloves and a blade is around $28.
