What we’re about
K-Unbalance Club is an anime appreciation group for Cranston Rhode Island, and surrounding areas. In this club members will talk about their favorite anime, visit cafes and talk about anime, and get together to view anime. Discussions about cultural differences between various kinds of anime will also be topics of conversation. The name of the club is a reference to the anime Genshiken which is a Japanese anime about a college anime appreciation club. The club will also have discussions about differences between manga and anime adaptations of manga. If members are interested there will be Japanese language practice, and pronunciation workshops. Fan art will be appreciated, and if we feel ambitious we might make some thin books. Members should be of age (18+) and understand that other cultures are different, not wrong.
