Crash A Server! — A Hands-On DevOps Workshop
Have you ever crashed a server on purpose?
MARVEL UVCE invites you to a one-of-a-kind, hands-on DevOps workshop where you won't just sit and listen — you will attack.
The Setup: We are building a completely isolated, private internet inside the college. Every participant gets SSH access to our server, learns the basics of Linux, and hosts their own web page on the network.
The Attack: Once everyone is connected, we launch a massive, coordinated DDoS attack to overwhelm and crash the main server — together.
The Fix: A UVCE alumni and Cloud DevOps Engineer steps in to demonstrate how real-world companies survive exactly this. Using Docker and Kubernetes, he scales the architecture live — right in front of you.
The Rematch: Same attack. Same intensity. But this time, the server fights back. Does it survive? Come find out.
