Valentine Card Block Printing
Details
In this block printing workshop, you’ll create Valentine cards featuring birds that mate for life - a sweet, symbolic motif for the season.
We’ll cover the basics of block printing and explore chine-collé, a technique that layers delicate papers into the printed image, adding color, texture, and depth. You’ll learn how to ink, register, and print your blocks, then experiment with combining printed imagery and paper for a simple but striking result.
This workshop is designed for beginners and curious makers alike. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with finished cards ready to send or keep.
