Navigating the Inner Dialogue of Women with ADHD: Accepting our Feelings

Details

Do you ever find yourself going along with others just to keep the peace—only to feel resentful or shut down later?

Maybe you've woken up and thought, “Why am I always struggling, but can’t name what I’m feeling?”

This session is for you.

Emotions aren’t the problem—they’re powerful messengers, trying to tell you what you truly need. In this second session of NVC for Women, we’ll explore the emotional landscape through a trauma-sensitive, mindfulness-based lens. You’ll be gently guided to recognize and name your emotions, giving you tools to meet them with curiosity instead of shame.

We’ll unpack how ADHD impacts emotional processing and reactivity, using fictional scenarios and group dialogue to bring unconscious patterns into awareness. Together, we’ll create a safe and brave space for self-reflection, storytelling, and collective insight. A soothing mini sound bath will also help calm the nervous system and ground your experience.
