FREE Community Tax Preparation Clinic from 12-4 PM

Need help preparing your taxes, or have just a few questions? Then why not visit our free tax clinic to consult with or have your return prepared by one of our volunteers.

As an approved member of the CRA's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, folks with a modest income AND a simple* tax situation for can visit us by appointment (or drop-off their information) every Thursday from 12:00 - 4:00 PM to have their 2019 & 2018 returns submitted.

We are also available to assist with returns going back up to 10 years (from 2009 forward). A special appointment can be made outside regular clinic hours for this service.

*PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to prepare self-employed, business, bankrupt, capital gains or deceased returns.

We are a welcoming, accepting, inclusive and fully accessible facility.

DATE/TIME: An approved and experienced tax preparer is available by appointment every Thursday from 12:00 - 4:00 PM for those with 2019/2018 returns.

WALK-INS: Limited same-day appointments cannot be guaranteed, are based on availability, and usually involve a first-come, first-served wait time.

LOCATION: At the bottom of Bayfield St., off the parking lot across from the Salvation Army. Look for the large grey building with colourful banners and follow the ramp to the main entrance.

Coffee/Tea and other snacks and beverages will be available for purchase (by suggested donation) from the Spirit Café inside the location.

We are a non-profit charity and goodwill donations are always welcome to help cover costs (paper, toner & utilities) and continue providing this space, activities, events and programming to the surrounding community. Tax receipts can be issued for amounts of $20 or more.
