Our hope is to create opportunities for you to experience the connections that will allow you to find more satisfaction and wholeness in your life.
Whether you feel it through your mind, your body, or inner being, deep connection eludes many of us, in part due to the noise of the distractions around us every day, like technology, social media, cultural expectations, schedules too busy to manage, and more, that can all dampen our ability to make the very connections we're craving for in our everyday lives.
Through mindful, meaningful, and spiritual conversations, we hope to create a better world for all of us, one small step at a time, and our Nurturing Spirit Retreats provide an opportunity for meditation, gentle yoga, deep relaxation, spiritual conversations, and learning.

Lucie will lead the discussion this week as we have fun with "this and that".
Lucie enjoys connecting with others through meaningful conversation, with space for everyone to share their ideas and perspectives. Creating Connection has become a meaningful part of her life and a wonderful way to explore that. As a former library assistant turned court reporter, words and language are a huge part of her life—and a bit of a passion! Books are a favourite hobby too, even if life keeps her an aspiring bookworm at best. Lucie is curious, enjoys learning and thoughtful discussion, and looks forward to facilitating this group in a welcoming, inclusive space.
In this laid-back space, we look forward to connecting with others, sharing insights, and enjoying great company. Every voice matters, and there’s always room for YOU at the table. In this safe, inclusive, casual, and accepting environment, dialogue is encouraged over debate. Each person will be given the opportunity to share from their own diverse perspective and experience.

Discover your own inner mystic as you open to the stories of both ancient and modern-day mystics.Explore the essence of their teachings and practice:

Teresa Elder Hanlon is a prayerful healer, retreat facilitator and spiritual director who was ordained a woman bishop with RCWP Canada in September 2025. A servant leader, she pastors an inclusive community both in person and by zoom. She holds an MA in sociology and Doctorate of Ministry from St. Stephen's College in Edmonton.
Teresa loves playing with children, reading poetry aloud, watercolour painting and making music. She is a mother of 2 grown sons and 4 grandchildren and lives with her husband Vincent on the coulees of the Oldman River near Lethbridge, AB ,Canada.

She believes in the healing power of community, creating sacred space to explore the deep inner work of yoga and meditation through her studio, Spirit in Motion Yoga, along with other spiritual communities.
Vickie teaches the “art of slowing down and listening deeply” to ourselves, to each other, to our planet, and to the Great Mystery that holds us all. With an inter-spiritual heart that embraces the oneness of all spiritual traditions, Vickie seeks to build bridges of shared practice and understanding through her writing, teaching, and retreats.All meals, snacks and accommodations are included for $300 per person.
