Our last conversation ventured into the territory of conspiracy theories at the end, so we’ll keep going with the theme of secrets by looking at the popular mysteries, theories, and legends that circulate and how we engage with them.
Whether we believe them or not, I’m sure we all know a few good conspiracy theories. So let’s share some stories while considering these questions…

What draws us into conspiratorial thinking and what do we need to be aware of when engaging with this kind of information?

How do these stories evolve and distort as they get passed on? How can we discern what’s true from what may be false, exaggerated or incomplete?

Are there accepted realities that seem more far-fetched than conspiracy theories? How do we find balance between healthy questioning and going too far down the rabbit trail?
I’ve already thought of a few good ones to share and I’m looking forward to hearing some that I haven’t yet heard. The intention is not to spread misinformation, but to crack the code on how this type of information influences us for better or worse, as we enjoy some intriguing story telling. I hope you can join us.
