With so much going on in the world and in our own personal lives it can be difficult to know when and how to respond. So this week let’s talk about how we assess what’s happening and determine our most appropriate response.
I had so many questions with this one that it was hard to consolidate them, but let’s start with these…

Of all the things happening in your own experience and/or the world now what is the highest priority in terms of your response? What criteria are you using to assess this?

When should we respond and when should we step back? What are the different options we have for how to respond and what are the benefits and drawbacks of each?

Does our access to and relationship with information make us more or less responsive? When does detachment help us with healthy responsiveness and when can it lead to despondence?
I think talking about what’s going on is often the best initial response, because it can help us gain perspective. So if there’s something happening that you’re unsure how to respond to, this would be a great conversation to join. Hope to see you Thursday.
