Join us in the new year when Live Coding Sessions continues with our first event on February 12 in Doka.

The evening kicks of with a special live performance by live coder and artist Joana Chicau, followed by live coding sessions of Dago Sondervan, Ulysses Popple, Joana C-q, Roald van Dillewijn, Timo Hoogland and Saskia Freeke.

Live Coding
Live Coding events, often known as AlgoRaves, are evenings where the music and visuals are coded live. The DJ and VJ are coders that adjust tone, pitch, rhythm, image etc. by modifying code and creating algorithmic compositions. Typically the process of writing code is made visible by projecting it live in the audience space, with ways of visualising the code as an area of active research and performance.

This event is organised in collaboration with live coding enthusiasts of Broedplaats VKG (Saskia Freeke and Klasien van de Zandschulp) and Stichting Urban Resort and Volkshotel
