We use Jeeliz Facefilter API (Apache2 license) to detect in real time the user's face from its webcam video stream. Then we use THREE.JS (MIT license) to render a Statue of Liberty mask above the user's head. And finally, we trigger a special effect when the user opens the mouth.

Mtindo (https://mtindo.ml) is a style transfer application for the desktop that offers non-technical people a unique opportunity to experience machine learning in action that explores some of the practical potentials of style transfer, beyond the game-like applications that are currently available. Mtindo means style in Swahili.
Style transfer is the technique of recomposing images in the style of other images.

The Clojure programming language enables powerful live coding with dynamic, functional programming. The Arcadia project combines the two into a unique tool for concert visuals, where Unity’s visuals can be sculpted live in front of an audience in Clojure. This talk will introduce live coding convert visuals and demonstrate how I set up scenes for my performances.
