What is Creative coding?
Using code and digital tools as a medium for art and design — images, sound, interactions, installations, and experiences.
What to expect
Short introductions, then the floor opens. Usually around six slots of ~10 minutes, plus about 5–10 minutes for questions from the room. Work in progress is welcome. First-timers are encouraged to share.
Topics: generative art, computational design, interactive installations, live coding, wearables, creative AI tools, games, shaders, data as art, generative poetry — if you used code, hardware or digital tools to make something creative, it fits. Not only for coders.
Want to present something?
No need to write in advance. Near the start of the evening we ask who wants to show something and take names for the slots. Organisers have a laptop that can be used to show basic links and online content.
Language
English is the main language. Other languages welcome.
