In 2025, making friends is hard, and finding work is even harder. In this economy, couldn't we all use a space that can provide some casual opportunities to do both?

Introducing Gluteus Miximus, a creative social club and open decks that runs every Thursday at The Fitzroy Beer Garden.

Gluteus Miximus is all about allowing creative people to connect and network, without the pressure of a “networking event”. If you want to come to find work or professional contacts, that's completely fine. If you want to play some card games or do some crafts, great! Or maybe, you just want to come to drink and dance with some fellow creative baddies. Use the event however you need or want to!

Don’t have anyone to go with? No worries! That's kind of the point! Either way, we'll have card games and social craft tables to ease our collective awkwardness and break the ice.
