Are you a new writer in Chicago looking to connect with modern minds? Let's form a new kind of writer's group together!
I'm hoping to foster the perfect place for up and coming writer's to inspire and be inspired by fellow creatives. A group that is dedicated to assisting each other in the creation process, providing feedback, strategizing ideas to help bring your writing to the next level...while also putting energy into connection that ignites the soul and gets the creative juices flowing. Ideally our writer's group would aim to host 2 events a month, both with a very different goal in mind.
The first event would be more of a focused meeting session where we discuss our projects and goals, trade our recent work, receive and give feedback, etc. The goal being to foster a supportive and encouraging environment where new writers can feel comfortable sharing their work and receiving constructive notes from quality individuals with fresh minds, ideas, and energy. Whether you are working on a novel, screenplay, short story, poetry, non fiction or any other form of writing, we welcome all genres and styles. Our goal is to create a community of writers who are dedicated to helping each other grow and succeed in their writing journey.
The second meeting we will host will be a social event to connect on a more personal level and build friendships within the group. Connection fosters growth and inspiration! Let's plan fun adventures together and get our minds primed for creativity.
