TerrorBull Games (https://www.terrorbullgames.co.uk/), perhaps best known for the controversial War on Terror board game that got seized by the police for the balaclava that comes in the box, are not your usual game publishers. Their satirical, seditious, subversive and educational games have been banned from toy and game fairs, and vilified (https://www.terrorbullgames.co.uk/blog/2011/december/war_on_terror_product_placement/) by the tabloid press. On the other hand, they have been praised by Amnesty International and The Nobel Peace Centre, and have appeared in art galleries, classrooms and TV sitcoms.
With 10 years of games publishing experience, TerrorBull Games like to tackle social issues through the medium of play. They design tabletop, digital, event, classroom and print & play games.
Designer Andrew Sheerin will talk relatively coherently and illustrator Tom Morgan-Jones (http://www.inkymess.com/) will – well – illustrate! Live! (They know no fear.) There will be a Q&A session followed by the chance to play their latest tabletop game – The Hen Commandments (https://www.terrorbullgames.co.uk/games/the_hen_commandments.php), a chicken-based build-your-own-religion party game. There will even be prizes.

The evening promises to be a be a serious, silly, educational, non-educational, memorable and forgettable experience, and that's just a best-case scenario. For a taste of what is in store , here are some videos:
A brief history of The War on Terror (the game, that is, not the Allied assault on an abstract noun):

And now Andrew explains the TerrorBull philosophy to Fox News:

Even the BBC series Games Britannia devoted some time to the subject:

And believe it or not, this chaotic pitch helped the team fund their latest venture…
