Open Studio: James Shaff; an artisan of silk screen printing does a live demo.

James, of LetGOprinting, is inviting us to his studio for a LIVE demonstration of his 8-color silk screen printing press. It is a fascinating process to watch a professional at work, as the ink flows.
Better yet, he has worked with me to design a new t-shirt for Creative Growth SoCal. Can't wait to see that!
James will also be printing a new fine art t-shirt of his own design on five or six of the screens, so we can simultaneously run off some of the shirts for our MeetUp.

Attending this event is free. Shirts 'hot-off-the-press' will be available for purchase.
We will have other artworks to see, and plenty of tasty snacks and drinks, with lots of FUN people.

The event is taking place at a cool studio space in the Garment District of DTLA, near Pico and Los Angeles Street. Exact location will be sent to those who RSVP two days before the event. (And please have a recognizable photo of yourself on your MeetUp profile). Word of warning; the elevator is typically not running on weekends, so be aware it's a 7th floor walk-up.
