About us

Welcome to the Creative Hands Social Sketching Meetup. This group is for anyone who enjoys picking up a pencil and paper, whether you are a lifelong artist or someone who has not sketched since grade school. The goal here is simple: to get out of the house, meet some interesting people, and spend a few hours focusing on drawing in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. We are not a formal class, so there is no curriculum or critique—just a shared space to practice our craft and chat while we work.

We meet at various cafes, parks, and public spaces around the city to keep things interesting. You do not need any fancy equipment to join us, just bring whatever sketchbook and pens or pencils you feel comfortable using. Whether you prefer landscapes, people-watching, or just doodling in the margins, you will find a friendly group of peers here. We hope you will join us for our next session to enjoy some quiet creativity and good company.
