Painting Candles

This month we are changing things up and trying something new: wax and candles! 🕯️

We'll be decorating candles, turning a plain candle into something that's completely your own, with your personal touch. Think patterns, colours, little scenes, seasonal themes, or whatever else inspires you.

There's no single way to do it, which is exactly the point. I'm excited to see the direction you take yours. I'm a big proponent of intuitive design and choosing what lights you up (pun intended- eye roll ha...ha) in the moment.

Part of the fun is always the conversations that happens while we make. Something about working with your hands makes it easy to slow down and chat, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we get into this time.
Work at your own pace, chat with the people around you, take it wherever you like. No experience needed. Just come curious.

What to expect

• Decorate your own candles using provided supplies
• Play with patterns, colours, and themes that feel like you
• Meet some creative people from around the neighbourhood
• Good conversation while we make
• Two hours, phones away, no pressure

A quick note: this one involves open flame and hot wax, so we'll go over a few simple safety basics at the start. Come ready to be hands-on.

I'll provide everything you need. You'll leave with some candles that are uniquely yours.
