Let's Make Kinusaiga
Details
*Please be sure to read to the end to see the full registration details :)
This month we’re trying kinusaiga, traditional Japanese fabric art.
Here’s how it works: you take small pieces of fabric and tuck them into grooves on a base to build up a design, and the result is a beautiful quilt-like art piece. And guess what? No sewing or glue involved.
You’ll get to choose from a few templates to base your design on, so there’s no pressure to draw or plan anything from scratch.
Ultimately, the making is a great reason for us to come together, learn something new, and slow down. Something about working with your hands makes it easy to get curious, be present, and connect with the fellow makers around you.
I’ll get you started and then you’re off. Work at your own pace. No experience needed. Just come curious.
The details:

**These events can involve craft tools like scissors, hot wax, exacto knives etc. so please be mindful that you take part at your own personal risk. While I work to foster a safe and inclusive environment, I can’t be held responsible for the actions of others. Consider this a friendly legal note, with a gentle ask that you help me keep the space safe and welcoming for everyone. 💛
