PROSTOR is celebrating its fourth birthday!
The first Saturday in July is reserved for the celebration of Prostor's birthday. We celebrate the big fourth and socialize from 5 to 10 pm with free creative workshop, drinks and music.

Programme:

• 5pm / b-day giveaway

The first 10 people who arrive to Prostor from 5pm can participate in a birthday giveaway. How does a giveaway where everyone wins work? Simply draw a piece of paper and win free places at our workshops or one of our other interesting prizes.

• 6-7:30pm / free poetry and collage workshop

Join us at a free creative workshop led by artist Andrea Resner. Through an intuitive approach, Andrea will show you how poetry is a simple form that emerges when resistance is released. Everyone is able to write poetry and then turn that poetry into a work of art in the form of a collage. **Places are limited, so registration is required: info@culturehubcroatia.hr**

• 8pm / Milica Denković: Dysmenorrhea Diaries / exhibition opening

Artist Milica Denković has been writing poetry since October 2021 during severe menstrual pain, using it as a cognitive behavioral exercise to shift the focus from the concept of pain to cognitive activity and searching for an appropriate metaphor for that pain. The project started spontaneously, out of fatigue from trying to find the right fetal position after several attempts, tired of playing video games, watching movies or listening to music. She wanted to overcome the pain with something more attractive, like poetry. Later, she began to expand the project into the field of intermedia art. She creates visual content with the theme of PMS food cravings and presents them as cocktails, trying to mix several sweet flavors, fruits and alcoholic beverages. She also creates the intensity of food cravings using junk food as an appropriate visual metaphor. She will present this project through a multimedia exhibition at Prostor, which will also include a poetry reading.
