Izložba Spremnici energije predstavlja radove dvoje umjetnika, Mihaela Frančića i Manuele Pauk, koji rade u proširenom polju slikarstva i skulpture, reagirajući osobnim pristupom na poticaje iz okoliša i društva. Rad Carstvo Mihaela Frančića nadahnut je neprestanom preobrazbom gradskog tkiva, urbanom transformacijom, izmjenom povijesnih, političkih i društvenih okolnosti, gradskih vizura te masovnom proizvodnjom, dok je rad Hekatina ležišta Manuele Pauk ciklus o energiji koja pokreće svijet, od geoloških dubina do površine; o prijelazima i transformacijama, sukobima i smirenjima, o životu i smrti koje se stalno prepliću.

Mihael Frančić (1998., Split) završio je školu likovnih umjetnosti u Splitu 2017. godine, smjer slikarski dizajner. Diplomirao je kao magistar diplomskog studija Odsjeka za slikarstvo na Umjetničkoj akademiji u Splitu 2023. godine, u klasi redovnih profesora u trajnom zvanju Viktora Popovića i Neli Ružić. Realizirao je nekoliko samostalnih izložbi - Premijere 77 u Loggia / Centar za kulturu i cjeloživotno obrazovanje Zlatna vrata u Splitu 2020. godine, te ''De- Generation'' u Galeriji Škola u Splitu 2022. godine, ''Obezglavljenost'' u Klubu Zona u Splitu 2022. godine, četiri izložbe pod nazivom ''Ennui'' u galerijama Galum, Kortil, Šira i Waldinger u 2022. i 2023. godini i ''Carstvo'' u galeriji KVART u Splitu, 2024. godine. Sudjelovao je na grupnim studentskim izložbama Novi Horizonti u Galeriji Ružić, Slavonski Brod, 2020. godine, na 4. Međunarodnom studentskom biennalu Greatest hits, MKC Split, u grupnoj izložbi Rad, tekst, kontekst (jer greška je dio svijesti) u Palači Milesi, Split i u Galeriji SC, Zagreb, u studentskoj izložbi ''Southwest-Northeast'' u galeriji Kuva / Tila na Umjetničkoj akademiji u Helsinkiju, Finskoj i na skupnoj izložbi ''SA-STA-VI, NA-STA-VI, RA-STA-VI'' u Galeriji umjetnina Split.

Manuela Pauk rođena je 1994. godine u Zagrebu, a odrasla je u Šibeniku. Diplomirala je kiparstvo na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu 2018. godine. Izlagala je na 11 samostalnih izložbi i dvadesetak skupnih izložbi, od kojih izdvaja Zlatnu lubenicu (2022), Hrvatsko trijenale kiparstva (2022), Barro de Mae, u sklopu Bijenala keramike u Aveiru, Portugalu (2021.), 60 days lockdown u ARIE muzeju, u Luxelakes galeriji u Chengdu, Kini (2020.), izložba Situacija u sklopu Salona mladih u Galeriji Forum (2020.), Festival likovnih umjetnosti u KUC Travno u Zagrebu (2020.), Narudžba je naša umjetnost u Garaži Kamba u Zagrebu (2019.), 40. Splitski salon (2018.), gdje je bila među pet finalista za nagradu salona. Drugi bitni projekti su joj Plastic sea turtle (2021.), ekološki projekt u suradnji s Akademijom likovnih umjetnosti. Sudjelovala je na CreaArt rezidenciji u gradu Aveiru (2021.), BiLJet rezidenciji (2021.) na otoku Biševu i u projektu Okolo (2021.).

Mihael Frančić & Manuela Pauk: Energy Reservoirs

The exhibition Energy Reservoirs presents the works of two artists, Mihael Frančić and Manuela Pauk, who both work in the expanded field of painting and sculpture, reacting with a personal approach to stimuli from the environment and society. The work Empire by Mihael Frančić is inspired by the constant urban transformation, changes of historical, political and social circumstances and mass production, while the work Hekata's bed by Manuela Pauk is a cycle about the energy that moves the world, from the geological depths to the surface; about transitions and transformations, conflicts and calms, about life and death that are constantly intertwined.

Mihael Frančić (1998, Split) graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Split in 2017, majoring in Painting Designer. He graduated as a master of the graduate study program at the Department of Painting at the Academy of Arts in Split in 2023, in the class of full professors with permanent title Viktor Popović and Neli Ružić. Some of his solo exhibitions include - De-Generation at the Škola Gallery in Split (2022), Beheading (Obezglavljenost) at the Zona Club in Split (2022), four exhibitions entitled Ennui at the Galum, Kortil, Šira and Waldinger galleries (2022 and 2023), Empire at the KVART Gallery in Split (2024), I'll Get Around to It Someday at the Ružić Gallery in Slavonski Brod (2025) and Another Kind of Realism at the Kaštela Town Museum in Kaštel Lukšić (2025). He participated in the group exhibitions New Horizons in the Ružić Gallery, Slavonski Brod (2020), in the group exhibition Work, text, context (because error is part of consciousness) at the Institute for Scientific and Artistic Work in Split and in the SC Gallery, Zagreb (2021/2022), in the Southwest-Northeast student exhibition in the Kuva / Tila gallery at the Art Academy in Helsinki, Finland (2022), in the exhibition SA-STA-VI, NA-STA-VI, RA-STA-VI in the Art Gallery Split (2023), at the exhibition 42nd Split Salon: Regeneration at MKC Split (2024) and at the exhibition Nightmares persist, but we persist too! in Galženica Gallery in Velika Gorica (2025). He is the winner of the 5th edition of the A4 national competition for young artists and curators.

Manuela Pauk was born in 1994 in Zagreb and grew up in Šibenik. She graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2018. She has exhibited in 11 solo and about twenty group exhibitions, including the Golden Watermelon (2022), the Croatian Sculpture Triennial (2022), Barro de Mae, as part of the Ceramics Biennial in Aveiro, Portugal (2021), 60 days lockdown at the ARIE Museum, at the Luxelakes Gallery in Chengdu, China (2020), the Situation exhibition as part of the Youth Salon at the Forum Gallery (2020), the Fine Arts Festival at KUC Travno in Zagreb (2020), The Order is Our Art at the Kamba Garage in Zagreb (2019), and the 40th Split Salon (2018), where she was among the five finalists for the Salon award. Other important projects include Plastic sea turtle (2021), an ecological project in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts. She participated in the CreaArt residency in the city of Aveiro (2021), the BiLJet residency (2021) on the island of Biševo, and the Okolo project (2021).
