Free virtual creative play workshop for adults!

This is a workshop for creative, playful adults who want a space to practice two main skills: letting go of the inner critic and embodying authentic creativity. (You'll also creatively collab with strangers and work on playing with others!)

My name is Renee and I taught arts, poetry and theatre for 13 years to kids--- now, it's time to help those who need play most: burnt out creative adults.

This workshop is probably unlike anything you've done before, so here's a brief description: adults okay together in high energy, playful and creative activities that include drawing, working , improv, body movement, and problem solving (e.g. "draw the best pig upside down with your eyes closed"). At the end of a series of warm ups, you will collab with other adults to create light hearted small projects and learn how to let go of perfectionism and go with the first thing that comes into your head.

THINGS TO KNOW:

1. This is not your grandma's craft night- this is for adults who enjoy a little bit of cussing and adult humor.

2. This is for people actively working on their sense of playfulness -if this feels really new and overwhelming and like you might struggle in a big way, this might not be the workshop for you. I'm looking to work with adults who get deeply energized from playing with others.

3. You don't need to be good at drawing, improv, writing or any creative pursuit. The skills are very accessible to everyone and theres am emphasis on letting go of the perceived preciousness of the product.
