Creative Reflective Workshops for Expats is a space for internationals who want to explore their migration experiences through creative and reflective methods.
We focus on self-expression, storytelling, identity, and the emotional dimensions of living abroad.
Our workshops are practical, gentle, and process-oriented. No artistic background is required.
This group is for expats who want to:
• reflect on their migration journey
• connect with others through creative exercises
• explore identity, belonging, and adaptation
• use art-based and psychological methods in a safe space
We host small, interactive sessions using creative tools, guided reflection, and group dialogue.
Everyone is welcome regardless of profession, background, or artistic skill.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful and creative way to process the expat experience, this group is for you.

Join Dr. Deniz Kücüker (PhD in Psychology) and Clinical Psychologist Mert Akyol for an interactive workshop designed for expats and internationals with migration background in Hamburg.
Through creative and therapeutic card-based exercises, we will explore themes of identity, belonging, emotional expression, and interpersonal communication.

Biographies
Deniz Kücüker holds a BA in Psychology and an MA and PhD in Counseling Psychology. She is currently continuing training in existential psychotherapy. Her areas of work include ontological well-being, meaningful living, and existential fulfillment. Having moved to Hamburg herself two years ago, she brings both professional and lived experience to her work with individuals navigating cultural transition.
Mert Akyol is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He has extensive experience providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy in both face-to-face and online settings. As an expat psychologist in Hamburg, he works especially with internationals with migration background on issues including trauma, identity, and interpersonal relationships.1 attendee
