# Workshop: Reflecting on the migration experience through creative methods

Join Dr. Deniz Kücüker (PhD in Psychology) and Clinical Psychologist Mert Akyol for an interactive workshop designed for expats and internationals with migration background in Hamburg.

Through creative and therapeutic card-based exercises, we will explore themes of identity, belonging, emotional expression, and interpersonal communication.

Biographies

Deniz Kücüker holds a BA in Psychology and an MA and PhD in Counseling Psychology. She is currently continuing training in existential psychotherapy. Her areas of work include ontological well-being, meaningful living, and existential fulfillment. Having moved to Hamburg herself two years ago, she brings both professional and lived experience to her work with individuals navigating cultural transition.

Mert Akyol is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He has extensive experience providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy in both face-to-face and online settings. As an expat psychologist in Hamburg, he works especially with internationals with migration background on issues including trauma, identity, and interpersonal relationships.
