About us
This group is for anyone who has wanted to pick up a pencil and start drawing but feels a bit intimidated by the idea of a formal art class. We meet up regularly to sketch in a relaxed, low-pressure environment where the goal is simply to get lines on paper and enjoy the process. Whether you have never picked up a sketchbook before or you are just looking for a reason to practice more consistently, you will find a welcoming space here.
We rotate between local cafes and quiet park corners, spending an hour or two sketching whatever catches our eye. There is no formal instruction or critique, just a friendly group of people working side-by-side. If you have been looking for a way to get creative without the pressure of having to make a masterpiece, come join us for a session. Bring whatever paper and pens you have on hand and settle in for a quiet evening of drawing with good company.
