About us

This group connects creators, technologists, and artists in Hawaiʻi who are interested in the tools and ideas shaping the future of digital media.

Hosted by VToku, a Honolulu-based virtual production studio, this community is for people curious about areas like motion capture, virtual production, streaming technology, XR, game development, and the broader creator economy.

The goal of the group is simple: bring together people in Hawaiʻi who are building, experimenting with, or exploring creative technology.

As the community grows, the group may host meetups, studio demonstrations, workshops, creator talks, and informal networking gatherings where members can:

• See motion capture and virtual production technology in action
• Learn about streaming and creator tools
• Share projects and ideas with other local creators
• Meet people working in 3D art, game development, XR, film, and content creation
• Explore new technologies shaping the future of media

Many gatherings will take place at the Entrepreneur Sandbox Creative Space in Honolulu, where VToku operates a community-accessible production studio.

This group is open to:

• Content creators and streamers
• Game developers and 3D artists
• Filmmakers and digital storytellers
• XR / AI developers
• Students interested in creative technology
• Anyone curious about how modern digital content is made

Hawaiʻi has a growing community of creators working with advanced technology, but people often don’t know where to meet others doing similar work. This group exists to build those connections and grow a stronger creative technology community in Hawaiʻi.

If you're interested in where media, technology, and creativity are going next, you're welcome here.
