From here to ear - MAAT and Belém Gardens
Details
This month's Creative Walk is inspired by Céleste Boursier-Mougenot's from here to ear, an immersive installation where zebra finches freely perch on electric guitars, creating an ever-changing composition of sound. Rather than simply observing the artwork, we'll explore how listening, noticing, and slowing down can become part of our own creative practice.
After visiting the exhibition, we'll head to the peaceful Jardins de Belém, where we'll settle beneath the trees for a relaxed drawing session inspired by what we've seen, heard, and felt.
No drawing experience is needed—this walk is about curiosity, observation, and creative presence.
What we'll do:
🎨 Visit the exhibition from here to ear at MAAT
👂 Explore how sound, movement, and observation can inspire drawing
🌳 Walk to Jardins de Belém
✏️ Sketching inspired by nature and the exhibition
💭 Share reflections in a relaxed, welcoming group
