Creative Wearables May 10

Our next meeting is on Saturday, May 10, and this month, Sew-Creative will be the star of the program!

Since September 2014—over ten years—our club has gathered monthly at Sew Creative, enjoying a wide range of programs and guest speakers. But we’ve never taken a closer look at the store itself... until now.

Join us for a Store Tour led by Jason and Teresa, who will walk us through the shop’s offerings, with a special focus on notions, tools and fabrics for garment sewing. Sew Creative also has a well-stocked inventory of sewing machines and sergers, from entry-level machines to advanced models. See what’s available at different skill levels and price points.

After the tour, we’ll gather in the classroom to learn more about the business side of the Sew & Vac shop. Let’s hear a behind-the-scenes look at the buying process, vendor relationships, and how they decide what to bring into the store.

The closure of JoAnn Fabrics has left a gap in the market—especially for garment sewers. Sew Creative wants to hear from you: what would you like to see added to the inventory? We’ll wrap up the meeting with a focused discussion to share our ideas and needs.

As always, we’ll start with Show and Tell. Bring your latest sewing projects, finished or in progress, and let’s share inspiration, advice, and a few well-earned compliments!
