Creative Wearables June Meeting

Dear Sewing Friends,
My husband and I have just returned home from our five-week tour of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Every day was a treasure with scenic routes, history coming alive, and lovely, friendly people.

Although I've been dealing with jet lag and laundry these past couple days, I am preparing a short presentation of the fiber, textile, and design aspects of the trip. Liberty of London fabric shopping, designs from Selfridges London, Scottish tartans, wools, and Irish knits are in the mix. I did purchase some fine cotton fabrics but no wool (too heavy).
