Scissors and Collage a la Matisse With Suzanne

Drawing with scissors is a beginner friendly collage workshop inspired by Henri Matisse’s colourful collages of cut and pasted papers. Using scissors and paper as a drawing tool, participants will explore shape, movement and composition through guided exercises and an open final piece. This small group workshop focuses on process, experimentation, and building confidence with collage. ✂️🖌️🖼️👩‍🎨👨‍🎨

No prior art experience required and all materials are provided. This class is ideal for anyone curious about collage and looking for an easy way to reconnect with their creativity.

Tea and scones will be served at break time. The workshop will take place at Mint & Honey, 329 March Road, Unit 90.

Instructor: Suzanne McCleary is an art therapist turned conceptual artist who focuses on helping people connect with their innate creative potential through process orientated art making.
