Welcome to our Creative Writing and Short Films Meetup Group. This group is dedicated to fostering a love for writing and for knowing yourself better through creative exploration.
I got started into creative writing through writing meetups and arts festivals in Mumbai.
And it was something of an epiphany — ten minutes of free writing felt more therapeutic than an hour of paid therapy.

Since then, I've collected writing exercises from various courses and workshops over the years, and followed these up with weekend filmmaking courses from FTII, Pune. I made a couple of short films during COVID. Since filmmaking is a collaborative activity, we can come together as a group and plan on making some shorts as well.
Join us for engaging discussions, writing exercises, short filmmaking, and more. This is primarily a creative writing group — but since writing and filmmaking naturally feed each other, we occasionally take it further and make short films together. Whether you're a seasoned writer or filmmaker, or just beginning your artistic journey, this group is for anyone drawn to creative exploration and the stories we tell on page and screen. Let's come together to inspire each other and deepen our appreciation for all things writing.
